A lifelong priority has been leadership roles and active involvement in countless community, professional, educational, civic and youth endeavors.

Highlights include:

• Election to the Glenview Board of Trustees
• Serving as Chair of the Glenview Plan Commission
  (including redevelopment of Naval Air Base)
• Founding Board and Chair of the community’s first Education Foundation
• Member of leadership councils with the Illinois Board of Education
• Member of Allstate Forum on Public Issues
• Leadership consulting and/or advisory roles with dozens of professional groups and agencies
  (i.e. Board formation for LEAP, a nonprofit supporting Chicago schools)
• Lecturer and speaker for multiple public and organizational programs
  (i.e. inspirational keynote at Fusion Forum, business owners on West coast)
• Chair of numerous strategic planning initiatives
• Chair and/or member of  college/university committees
• Leadership within many youth programs
  (i.e. AAU, the Illinois Women’s Soccer Assoc.)
• Coached numerous teams helping eight athletes continue into collegiate careers
